Chiropractors diagnose, treat, and prevent mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, especially of the spine. Whether they work in a chiropractic setting independently or as a part of a multi-specialty group setting, Chiropractors may lean on NovaCred from start to finish.
As with other medical professionals, all Chiropractors must be credentialed and linked to the group (business) tax ID with a contract in order to be properly reimbursed by insurance companies.

A Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM), known also as a podiatric physician or surgeon, may lean on NovaCred for all initial and ongoing support.
As with other medical specialists, DPMs will either own their own practice or they will work together with other providers in a group practice setting. Sometimes they are known to form a multi-specialty group and incorporate physical therapy, pain medicine, or other specialties that will complement their overall care model.

Multi-specialty group practices offer various types of medical specialty care within one organization.
You may see a group containing a chiropractor, physical therapist, nurse practitioner, MD of Pain Management, and a podiatrist all together working under the same Tax ID. As long as they are working and billing together under that same Tax ID, they are considered a multi-specialty group.
StreamRev assists Multi-Specialty Groups across the nation. Regardless of specialty - whether a DC or DPM or MD or NP - all healthcare providers must be credentialed and enrolled with an insurance company in order to see patients and be paid for those services within that insurance company’s network.
These healthcare providers are all required to maintain an NPI and submit credentials (usually via CAQH). We are able to create and maintain individual NPI and CAQH accounts. Our team also credentials the providers with the insurance companies.
In addition, NovaCred will obtain, manage, and negotiate contracts for the business Tax ID so that they can be paid the highest revenue possible.
Many times the physicians in a group will require privileges at hospitals or surgical facilities. NovaCred is able to obtain and maintain credentials with hospitals for these providers. We will also obtain or update licenses and DEA certificates.
The defining characteristic of single-specialty practice is the presence of two or more physicians providing patients with one specific type of care (i.e., primary care or a specific subspecialty practice).
An example would be an OB GYN clinic where only MD’s and NP’s are working with patients in OB GYN care. There are no other specialties (such as neurology or physical therapy) in that practice.
